In a prepared release, Edward Jordan, regional manager of the Manhattan office, says Zuckerman joins "several other high-profile investment specialists from competing brokerage firms who have made the same decision to join Marcus & Millichap over the past few months." Recent hires at the firm have included Adelaide Polsinelli, formerly a senior investment broker at Besen & Associates, and Marco Lala, who joined from Massey Knakal Realty Services, where he had been a partner and spearheaded Massey Knakal's expansion into the outer boroughs. In a statement announcing Polsinelli's hire last July, Jordan noted that she had been sought by "several local real estate firms" before deciding on Marcus & Millichap.
In his new position, Zuckerman will arrange the sale of a variety of properties, including multifamily, hotels, loft buildings, land development and parking garages, according to the release. His clients include high net-worth individuals, institutions and pension funds. Before his real estate sales career, he managed 1,700 apartment and commercial property units for Harry Helmsley and Irving Schneider.
