Jeffrey J. Kowal, SVP of Edgemark Commercial Real Estate Services LLC, represented both buyer and seller, 3900 Pine Grove Inc., in the deal. "This is one of the best shadow-anchored centers in all of Chicagoland," Kowal said. The purchased property, at the southeast corner of Boughton Road and Naper Boulevard, consists of two buildings on two acres. The retail center was constructed in 1998, according to sources.

The center is shadow-anchored by Jewel/Osco, Target, and Kohls, and includes a free-standing multi-tenant building on an outlot. There are also inline spaces next to Jewel. Additional tenants in the retail center include Radio Shack, Panera and Fannie May, sources say.
