MIAMI LAKES, FL-Locally based J.I. Kislak Inc. has named Dung Lam as its chief financial officer. In his new position, Lam will oversee the finance, accounting, investor relations, information technology, human resources and marketing of the commercial real estate investment firm.

"It is my goal to help identify opportunities and ensure that we are well-positioned financially in order to take advantage of opportunities in this distressed market," Lam tells GlobeSt.com. "In addition, I will continue the company's objective of maximizing our shareholder's returns on our current investments."

Prior to joining Kislak, Lam served as vice president and CFO for Boca Raton-based RPC Diversified Holdings Inc. He has also worked as assistant CFO for Boca Developers, where he built the accounting and finance function that was primarily responsible for Biscayne Landing, a 200-acre mixed-use master planned community. Lam has also worked in strategic planning for the Washington Redskins, developed and grew the Homeland Security Division at Northrop Grumman. He has held financial management positions at Fortune 100 companies such as Walt Disney Co. and Lockheed Martin, and has closed over $1 billion in structured equity and finance.
