The Le Meridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa will be in Wanning City on China's Hainan Island. The hotel--owned by China Resources (Holdings) Co., Ltd. is on three miles of beach with views of the South China Sea. Surrounded by forest, the 275 guest rooms--including 25 villas--will have private balconies. Shimei Bay is fitted with three restaraunts--Breakers, Ai Mei and Horizon Bar + Grill--as well as three lounges--Latitude 18, Lagoon Bar and Sensations. This hotel also provides a 3,700-square-foot spa, which includes individual dipping pools, steam rooms, spa cabanas, luxury suites, massage rooms, a hair salon, a boutique and bistro. For business, there will be a 6,000-square-foot ballroom and five meeting rooms. Rates run from CNY1,040 to CNY8,000 per night, which is roughly US$152.22 to US$1170.93.

The Le Meridian Chiang Rai Resort is situated between two 100-year-old rain trees, according to its release, in the northernmost province of Thailand. The resort--owned by the Rain Tree Hotel Co., Ltd.--is ten minutes from the airport and five minutes from town. With 159 guest rooms and suites, the amenities include a spa, three restaurants, a gym and a three-tiered, outdoor swimming pool. Nightly rates range from THB5,300 to THB10,000, essentially US$165 to US$313.

The Le Meridien Chiang Mai sits in downtown Chiang Mai with 384 rooms. The hotel overlooks the Doi Suthep Mountain, along with providing two restaurants, space, health club, outdoor swimming pool and 6,000 square feet of flexible function space. The rates range from THB4,200 to THB8,500 per night, or US$131 to US$266.
