"We were looking for a property that would fit our open working environment and culture," says Joseph Petrowski, CEO of Cumberland Farms, in a statement. "and allow us to have a viable, central location for all of our Cumberland Farm and Gulf Oil employees. Our workforce has been key to our growth, and it was important to remain in a central location to ensure satisfaction, while allowing us an advantage in recruiting and retaining employees."

The three-story building will assume roughly 400 employees in May 2009. The building is located on Route 9 near the Massachusetts turnpike, part of the 9/90 Corporate Center Park. The price of the property has not been disclosed, but according to the Q3 Cushman & Wakefield Suburban Office Market report, this property leases on an average of $34.67 per square foot. Working on behalf of Cumberland Farms and Gulf Oil were partners Tom Kent and Sean Teague, as well as VP Eric Foster, all from DTZ FHO Partners. Representing the landlord were Joe Fallon, partner, and SVP Sue Donovan also of DTZ FHO Partners.
