"We were looking for a property that would fit our open working environment and culture," says Joseph Petrowski, CEO of Cumberland Farms, in a statement. "and allow us to have a viable, central location for all of our Cumberland Farm and Gulf Oil employees. Our workforce has been key to our growth, and it was important to remain in a central location to ensure satisfaction, while allowing us an advantage in recruiting and retaining employees."

The three-story building will assume roughly 400 employees in May 2009. The building is located on Route 9 near the Massachusetts turnpike, part of the 9/90 Corporate Center Park. The price of the property has not been disclosed, but according to the Q3 Cushman & Wakefield Suburban Office Market report, this property leases on an average of $34.67 per square foot.
