ASBURY, NJ-Months after signing an extension for a 101,250-square-foot warehouse/distribution building here, Derby Industries LLC–a logistics company–has given notice to the landlord, J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc., that it intends to vacate the building.A spokesperson for J.G. Petrucci told GlobeSt.com that there was a change in the business plans for the client Derby serviced from that building. When the lease extension was signed in November, Nestle Purina PetCare Co. was identified as the company served from the facility. One source confirmed that Derby will be in the building through March and that the company lost their contract with Nestle Purina; however Derby still maintains a sizable presence in the Allentown area with roughly 200,000 square feet near the airport.

The facility, located at 7108 Daniels Dr. here, features 24-foot to 26-foot clear ceiling heights; 35-foot by 40-foot column spacing; and eight loading dock doors. It is situated one mile from the Route 100 interchange of Interstate 78 and US Highway 22, with access to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension, Route 309 and the Lehigh Valley International Airport. The building also offers rail service and features a new roof.
