Maria Wood Named Editor of Real Estate New Jersey

NEW YORK CITY-One of the most respected names in the field of real estate journalism takes over one of the country's most successful regional real estate business publications.

NEW YORK CITY-Incisive Media’s Real Estate Group–publisher of GlobeSt.com–has revealed that one of the most trusted journalists covering the commercial real estate market today–Maria Wood–has been named editor of Real Estate New Jersey. Wood, a 16-year veteran of the firm, formerly served as senior editor of Real Estate Forum and managing editor of Real Estate Southern California. The promotion is the latest piece in an ongoing restructuring strategy taking place at the Real Estate Group.

Real Estate New Jersey is the most prominent publication focusing on the business of commercial real estate in the Garden State. The magazine boasts a circulation of 12,000 professionals.

Maria Wood brings to her new post an understanding of the forces behind the trends shaping the commercial real estate industry and the greater business market that drives it. Previously, in her role as senior editor of Real Estate Forum, Maria covered a range of cutting-edge topics, with a special focus on hotels and finance. She is also editor of the Hotels Sector page of GlobeSt.com, the predominant daily news and information website of the real estate industry.
