"Opening the Nashville office makes utilizing our brokerage, financing, research and advisory services much more convenient for our Tennessee clients," says Lucas, who serves as a senior vice president and managing director with Marcus & Millichap. "Our expanded market coverage will also result in a larger inventory of product for our clients in other parts of Tennessee, the Southeast and nationwide."

Agents in the new Nashville office will also focus on the sale of distressed assets through the firm's recently expanded Special Assets Services division, Lucas adds. Encino, CA-based Marcus & Millichap has a dozen offices throughout the Southeast, half of which are located in Florida.
