As head of the New Jersey office, Schotz will focus on expanding the company's tenant and landlord representation business in New Jersey, with an emphasis on the strategic development and expansion of business service lines, including building brokerage and ownership services as well as investment sales.

On the heels of Schotz' appointment, FirstService has also formed a Senior Leadership Council at the New Jersey office. Members of the newly formed council include Schotz, Eric Witmondt, Bryn Cinque, John Cunningham, David Csontos, Drew Persson, Jamie Drummond, Ward Greer and--from the New York office--Joseph Caridi. The council will provide advisory support to both Schotz and the New York-based executive team tasked with helping to expand existing and new service lines.

"The designation of Jeff as head of FirstService Williams' New Jersey office and the formation of the Senior Leadership Council reflect our tremendous commitment to New Jersey's commercial real estate market," company CEO Mark Jaccom tells GlobeSt.com. He adds that the firm is currently seeking to optimize its expansion capabilities within the state as an important part of the company's overall growth. To aid in this strategy, he says, "we will be hiring aggressively and investing in our New Jersey operations to promote our expansion and ensure our competitive edge in this market."
