Grace Thomson, broker coordinator for Cushman & Wakefield's Long Island office, tells GlobeSt.com the law firm is moving into a space that's 10,000 square feet larger than its current headquarters at TIAA-CREF's 330 Old Country Rd. in Mineola, NY, for which JRT Realty is leasing agent. Ken Bauer, RXR's EVP for leasing, says in a release that the bigger space will accommodate the firm's future growth.

Buildout of the new space will include a multitude of green and sustainable construction materials and techniques which are being overseen by a LEED-accredited architect, according to the release. Forchelli Curto partner Brian Sahn oversaw the firm's selection process, and also spearheaded lease negotiations with partner Barbara Alesi.

Ted Stratigos, senior director of C&W's Long Island office, represented Forchelli Curto in negotiations. Landlord RXR was self-representing. Asking rents at 333 Earle Ovington, also known as the Omni, are $36 per square foot, according to RXR. Forchelli Curto plans to move into the new space in late spring or early summer.
