Office Unit Nets LEED Nod

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ-The 3,155-square-foot unit is part of a larger 177,008-square-foot warehouse property, managed by CBRE.

MOUNT OLIVE, NJ-The 177,008-square-foot warehouse property located here at 850 Clark Dr. recently achieved LEED certification from the US Green Building Council for its 3,155-square-foot office unit. The property is owned by 850 Clark Drive LLC and managed by CB Richard Ellis’ senior real estate manager Donna Pilone and assistant real estate manager Michele Pinto.

The leasing team is led by CBRE’ William Waxman, senior vice president; Mitchell Katz, first vice president; and Steve Sander, senior associate. In addition, the ownership, management and leasing teams worked closely with CBRE’s project management group, which included Michael Laffey, Jerry Martingano and Ryan Scott, to build out the office space to meet LEED certification standards.

“Obtaining LEED certification for this high performance, build-to-suit facility has been a focus of both CBRE and the ownership for over a year now,” Waxman tells GlobeSt.com. “Given the increased concern about the financial and economic risks associated with world climate changes, this accomplishment speaks to the work that the ownership has put into making this building so eco-friendly,” he says, adding that CBRE is currently looking to match the right tenants with the available space.
