This move enables Arc to both expand its headquarters and combine its day program into a single location. "The Arc of Hunterdon County was looking to consolidate its operations and expand the day program component of their business," states Goodwin in a release. "We immediately identified this property as the ideal setting that would best suit their needs. The new location will permit the organization to continue to grow as well as provide the community with better access to Arc's resources. "

Previously headquartered at 1322 Rte. 31 here, the Arc of Hunterdon County is set to occupy footage on the fourth and fifth floors of 1465 State Rt. 31 S. The fourth floor space will be occupied by the Day Program Operations, which is relocating from Flemington. Approximately 65 participants of the program will receive training and employment development services in classrooms and a computer lab. The fifth floor space will be used as professional office space for approximately 35 agency staff members, as well as a community meeting/training room.

Located off of Exit 17 of Interstate-78 in Hunterdon County, 1465 State Rte. 31 S. is a 52,818-square-foot office building that is close to Downtown Clinton.
