Cannon, a 28-year hospitality industry veteran and former deputy tourism commissioner for the State of Georgia, previously served as vice president of brand management for IHG Americas and is credited with nearly doubling the number of IHG hotels in the US, Canada and Mexico from 12 to 23. She also led the company's West Coast expansion, adding four hotels and resorts in less than three years.

"With the recent opening of Hotel Indigo London Paddington marking the brand's global rollout, now is the perfect time for Janis to take the reigns and drive success for the brand and our developers across the global marketplace," says Tom Seddon, IHG chief marketing officer. There are now 24 Hotel Indigo properties with more than 60 in the development pipeline worldwide.

Radomski is a 19-year IHG veteran and will continue in his new capacity to expand its extended-stay concept globally. For the past five years, he has led IHG's extended-stay brands in the Americas region and is credited with expanding Staybridge Suites to more than 150 hotels. Another 160 are in the development pipeline, including brand introductions in Europe and the Middle East.

Candlewood Suites was acquired by British-based IHG in 2004 and has grown to more than 200 hotels under Radomski's leadership, with another 250 in the pipeline. It will be the first midscale extended-stay hotel brand to open in New York City later this year.
