Gale Construction to Manage Project for Insurer

HAMMONTON, NJ-New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co. handed construction management services for its new regional operations center here to the Gale Construction Co.

HAMMONTON, NJ-The Gale Construction Co. LLC, an affiliate of Mack-Cali Realty Corp., has begun to oversee the development of New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Co.’s new regional operations center here. Spanning 146,000 square feet, the three-story office building is scheduled for completion by Q4 2010.

NJM Insurance Group is said to be the largest provider of property-casualty insurance in the state. The new $48-million center will serve as its southern regional operations facility.

“[There are] currently [about] 180 employees in a leased facility in Hammonton, and they will move to the new location when it opens in December 2010,” says a spokesman for NJM Insurance. “[The company] also will hire four to five employees for the branch of NJM Bank, which doesn’t currently exist in Hammonton but will open in the new facility.”
