Other national retailers that have committed to space at Sky View Center include Target, Best Buy, Marshall's, Staples and Bed, Bath and Beyond, according to a release from Muss. In the release, Muss SVP Jim Jarosik says the center offers "a tremendous opportunity" within New York City's "most under-retailed borough." The commercial space is now 70% leased, the release states.

The shopping center will be flanked by Muss' Sky View Parc, which will include six high-end condominium towers and a rooftop park. Nearly 140 units have already sold since sales began in the spring of 2008, according to a release. Ripco Real Estate Corp. handled both the BJ's and Applebee's deals on behalf of Muss.
