JLL Brings in Panzer-Led Leasing Team

NEW YORK CITY-Scott Panzer, an EVP and principal at Newmark Knight Frank, has joined Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office, bringing a 13-member team with him. The hire was intended to bolster JLL’s bench strength in its leasing team.

Panzer’s team includes Deborah van der Heyden, Robert Romano, David Kaplansky, Steven Rotter, Sean Black, Lisa Campofranco, Meredith Marash, Shannon Rzeznikiewicz, Kenia Fuertes, Brad Lane, Oliver Lloyd, Devorah Lebovic and Neela Rastogi. In a release, Peter Riguardi, president of JLL’s New York region, says Panzer and his team “have a track record of success and are certain to make Jones Lang LaSalle’s leasing team even stronger.”

A veteran of 20-plus years in commercial real estate, Panzer has completed more than 22 million square feet of leasing assignments since 1992. Among his biggest transactions in Manhattan, he restructured an 800,000-square-foot lease for AXA Equitable, arranged a 750,000-square-foot deal for the United Nations in three separate buildings, secured 470,000 square feet for BNY Pershing and represented Bloomberg LP in leasing 700,000 square feet. He also completed a 350,000-square-foot lease for KeySpan’s headquarters in Brooklyn, a 500,000-square-foot global technology center for MasterCard in O’Fallon, MO; a 200,000-square-foot regional headquarters for First Data in Atlanta; and the 450,000-square-foot Center for Advanced Medicine in Lake Success, NY for the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System.
