In a release, Fred Posniak, SVP of W&H Properties, says, "It means a lot to us that ABS chose 60 E. 42nd for its return to Manhattan. We're delighted that we could offer the firm an efficient space in a prestigious and convenient location, with financially strong ownership to help make the deal happen." Founded in 1862, ABS is headquartered in Houston with regional offices in London and Singapore.

Separate teams from Newmark Knight Frank represented ABS and the landlord in lease negotiations. Part of the W&H portfolio, the 55-story 60 E. 42nd—once known as the Lincoln Building—recently underwent an $85-million capital improvement program. It is owned by Lincoln Building Associates, LLC, a partnership led by Peter Malkin and Anthony Malkin. Availabilities there range from pre-built spaces of 2,300 to 4,785 square feet available for immediate occupancy to full floors of 9,500 to 47,589 square feet.
