The sale price of the building was nearly $5.4 million, or just over $70 per square foot, according to Lisa Ward, IDI vice president of leasing in Atlanta. The purchase includes just under nine acres, on which J.W. Pepper can expand by another 12,000 square feet in the future, she says.

The WestPoint facility is one of two warehouses operated by J.W. Pepper, with the other 47,081-square-foot location leased from IDI at its Landmark site in Salt Lake City, UT. Each new facility will serve its respective halves of the US, while the company will continue to maintain 14 reduced its distribution network from 15 locations across the US, with.

"Both class A facilities are strategically located to serve the company's consolidated distribution operations," Ward says. She adds that J.W. Pepper's distribution process is highly organized and automated.
