The Muppets Take Long Island City

NEW YORK CITY-The East Coast division of Jim Henson's Creature Shop is relocating from Manhattan's Noho district to 12,000 square feet at 37-18 Northern Blvd.

NEW YORK CITY-The Jim Henson Co. has signed a seven-year office lease for 12,000 square feet at 37-18 Northern Blvd. in Long Island City. Best known as the creator of the Muppets, the company is relocating from 627 Broadway in Manhattan’s Noho district.

The new space will house the East Coast division of Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, which provides digital visual effects, animatronic creatures, animation and soft puppets to the international film, television, online and advertising industries. The company is based in Los Angeles and New York.
