Lawyers Bonina & Bonina Stay at 16 Court

NEW YORK CITY—Law firm Bonina & Bonina, P.C., which specializes in personal injury and other types of consumer litigation, has renewed its 7,912-square-foot headquarters space at SL Green Realty Corp.’s 16 Court St. in Brooklyn. The renewal for part of the 18th floor at the 36-story tower, currently Brooklyn’s tallest, is for five years.

In a release, Steven Durels, EVP and director of leasing and real property for SL Green, credits a capital improvement program at 16 Court with influencing the law firm’s decision to stay. The recent redevelopment of 16 Court included a new lobby, elevator cabs, corridors and windows together with a façade restoration and HVAC and electric upgrades. Among the tenants there are the New York City Department of Transportation, the New York Times’ Brooklyn bureau, Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, Hudson Valley Bank and the Kings County Democratic Committee.
