The First Church of Christ, Scientist secured five new leases for its 177 Huntington Ave. The building at the Christian Science Plaza, known for its large reflecting pool, will now be a little over 80% leased. CSN Stores will take six floors for roughly 48,000 square feet, while Carbonite will take two floors and Altus Marking and management LLC, Charity Partners Inc. and One Pica, Inc. will take one full floor, each.
The class A office space is well-located with easy access to the green line, specifically the E line. The Christian Science Plaza is a stone's throw away from Copley Plaza and the Hines Convention Center, as well.
FHO Partners' J. Duncan Gratton and Lauria Brennan repped the First Church of Christ, Scientist in all the leases. Tome Ashe of Richards Barry joyce repped CSN Stores, Monica Cost of Cushman & Wakefield and Stephen Rich of T3 Advisors represented Altus Marketing; Bill Crean of CB Richard Ellis represented Charity partners; Mike Talor of T3 Advisors represented One Pica and gil Dailey of Cushman & Wakefield repped Carbonite.
Out in the suburb of Westborough, MA, technology company PharmaVigilant is occupying a new headquarters. The company is securing 3,500 square feet in the Westborough Mill. The three-story building off Route 9 is a former textile mill weighing in at 49,000 square feet, total. The former mill—69 Milk St.--was built in 1902 and renovated in 2000. The price and length of the leases was not disclosed.
James Elcock, William Lynch and Timothy O'Brien of Colliers Meredith & Grew represented the landlord Eastport Real Estate Service in the deal.
