Law firm Becker & Poliakoff will be the building's first tenant, leasing 23,076 square feet on the building's top floor. The Fort Myers office includes 37 attorneys and professional staff.

This is the first of two buildings planned at Six Mile Corporate Park, which encompasses eight acres along with the eastern portion of Crystal Drive, eventually providing direct access to US 41 and Metro Parkway. Additional sites at the park are available for sale or build-to-suit projects, says Randal Mercer, the project's marketing director.

"The Fort Myers area, especially the I-75 corridor and international airport, is positioned to lead Florida's economic recovery and growth into the next decade," Mercer says. He notes that a major commercial district has developed a the hub of Six Mile Cypress Parkway, Colonial Boulevard and I-75 that includes three colleges, two medical center and shopping centers.

Mercer, a founding partner of CB Richard Ellis' offices in Fort Myers and Naples, coordinated site selection, acquisition and development plans for Six Mile Corporate Park. Busey Bank arranged financing.
