NEW YORK CITY-Once the smoke clears from the economic downturn, there will be enormous profits to be made in commercial real estate, but no one should pretend that the market or the new opportunities will be reruns of what was seen in the past. To help readers chart the road that lies ahead, Incisive Media’s real estate group is presenting a webinar at 1 p.m. today, titled “The Big Six Market Sectors: The Path to Profitability.”

The hour-long discussion will focus on how real estate players in office, multifamily, retail, industrial, hospitality and distress need to retool their operations in order to take advantage of the eventual upsurge. Panelists will include Ric Campo, chairman and CEO of Camden Property Trust; J.P. Ford, SVP of Lodging Econometrics; Jack Fraker, vice chairman at CB Richard Ellis; Bernard Haddigan, SVP/managing director at Marcus & Millichap; Frank P. Liantonio, EVP of capital markets at Cushman & Wakefield; and W. Emery Matthews, partner in Portfolio Property Management Global, LLC. Moderating will be Cody Lyon, associate editor of the New York region for GlobeSt.com and Real Estate New York.
