Syska Engineers 65,000-SF Deal on Broadway

NEW YORK CITY-Engineering firm Syska Hennessy is moving its New York headquarters to SL Green's 1515 Broadway, occupying two full floors.

NEW YORK CITY-Engineering firm Syska Hennessey Group has signed a deal to move its New York headquarters to S.L. Green Realty Corp.’s 1515 Broadway. The 15-year direct lease is for 64,788 square feet of space. Asking rents at the 1.9 million-square-foot office property range from $62 to $70.

“Syska Hennessy sought new premises for its New York headquarters that would be appropriate for its image in the marketplace,” says Peter Riguardi, president of Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office, in a release. “The engineering firm was comfortable with S.L. Green’s reputation and stature in New York, and was attracted by the significant amenities that 1515 Broadway could offer its employees and clients.” He adds that the tenant will seek LEED certification for its new offices.
