"Avison Young's global vision is one of the most compelling in the industry," Webb says. "The company has developed a new client service model that recognizes the inadequacy of traditional service line structures. Avison Young understands the key to success is the alignment of interests between its principals and the changing needs of clients in the new economic environment."

Effective early next month, Webb will be responsible for leading geographic and service line expansion efforts and heading all operations in the US. Based out of the firm's suburban Chicago office in Northbrook, IL, Webb will serve as principal and a member of Avison Young's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Prior to JLL, Webb worked as second VP in the capital markets group at Continental Illinois National Bank, having earned his B.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

"Earl Webb is one of the most distinguished executives in global commercial real estate and capital markets, with an unparalleled track record building business operations as well as executing highly successful strategies on behalf of clients," Mark Rose, chair and CEO of Avison Young, says. "We are extremely pleased to welcome him to the leadership team, and particularly excited that he will take the helm of our US initiatives at this opportune time in our growth."
