The partnership acquired two apartment properties earlier this summer, the 390-unit Park at Dorchester and the 228-unit Park at Knightsbridge, both in the Brandon community east of Tampa. Blue Rock currently owns and manages 12 apartment complexes totaling more than 4,000 units.

David Coppa, a principal of Konover South, gives credit to Blue Rock principal partners Randy Ferreira and Reuven Oded for their company's success. He notes that Oded previously worked with Konover South's parent, West Hartford, CT-based Simon Konover Cos., in developing a major hotel at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, CT.

"Simon Konover built his business on a handshake, and Konover South provides that same level of unshakeable trust and integrity to our clients," adds Greg Combs, Konover South president. "We understand that successful developments are built with more than bricks and mortar. They're built on the rock solid relationships we establish with tenants, vendors and community partners."
