Place Properties Adds to Management Roster

ATLANTA-The student housing firm takes on property management of units near Ohio University.

ATLANTA-Locally based Place Properties LP has added to its property management run for student apartments, taking on those duties at the Summit at Coates Run complex near Ohio University in Athens, OH. The project consists of 856 beds being delivered in two phases, with completion scheduled in January 2010.

Place Properties’ on-site team assumed day-to-day management responsibilities for the first phase and pre-leasing duties for the second phase. The company has at least 10 developments in various construction stages across the US.

“This management contract is a wonderful addition to the Place Properties management portfolio,” says Bob Clark, executive vice president, finance and acquisitions. “This engagement aligns with our strategy to expand our business through the addition of management contracts, property acquisitions and development projects.”
