"After 10 years in this location, it made sense for the company to keep its office here," says Steven Kaufman, president of landlord the Kaufman Organization, in a release. "The space is a perfect fit for the company headquarters."

Kaufman and leasing director Barbara Raskob of the Kaufman Organization represented both landlord and tenant in the transaction. Lease terms were not disclosed; however, asking rent for the space was in the high $30s per square foot.

Built in 1925, 462 Seventh is a 23-story building in the Garment District. The 185,000-square-foot structure features 24/7 access and a shared entrance with 470 Seventh Ave. Tenants include Geller & Wind Ltd., Live Person and InnerWorkings Inc. It's just up the street from the Kaufman Organization's own headquarters at 450 Seventh Ave.
