NFI Leases 93,000 SF At Centerpoint Intermodal

ELWOOD, IL-The third-party logistics firm has signed on for space at the 214,000-square-foot 27143 S. Baseline Rd. within the Centerpoint Intermodal Center.

ELWOOD, IL-NFI has signed on for 93,000 square feet in the Centerpoint Intermodal Center. The third-party logistics firm leased space within the 214,000-square-foot 27143 S. Baseline Rd., part of a portfolio owned by Australian-based Mirvac Industrial Trust. Vineland, NJ-based NFI decided to lease space in the building based on its proximity to the BNSF Logistics Park – Chicago, the largest inland port in the U.S.

NFI was represented by John Suerth of CB Richard Ellis in the deal, while Mirvac was represented by Dan Leahy and Adam Roth of NAI Hiffman’s Industrial Services Group. “Locating adjacent to the BNSF-LPC is the most direct way for a company to gain cost-savings and reduce their operational impact on area roads and the environment,” Leahy says.
