[IMGCAP(2)]At BRE, Griggs was responsible for the strategic deployment of capital in the BRE's Western US markets, leading a team of development, construction and acquisition people. Prior to BRE, Griggs, a licensed architect, was the SVP of Western US real estate state for Homestead Village, Inc., a subsidiary of Security Capital Group, Inc. He also has served as a senior real estate executive in the single-family home industry for the Fieldstone Company and Ryland Homes.
