Diamond Headache Leases 13,000-SF Office

CHICAGO-The clinic will relocate from east Lincoln Park to its space in a recently completed 225,000-square-foot mixed-use development.

CHICAGO-Diamond Headache Clinic has signed a lease for 13,000 square feet at the recently completed 225,000-square-foot Blackhawk on Halsted mixed-use development. The private headache clinic will relocate to its new space in Structured Development LLC’s project at 1460 N. Halsted on Jan. 1 from 467 W. Deming Place in east Lincoln Park. Brad Serot and Peter Delneky of CB Richard Ellis represented Diamond in the deal.

“After carefully reviewing several attractive relocation alternatives, 1460 N. Halsted provides Diamond Headache Clinic with a dynamic location that enhances their identity, while accommodating their growth plans for the future,” Serot says. Blackhawk sits on two acres in the Halsted/North/Clybourn market, offering proximity to numerous bus routes, the CTA Red Line El and the Interstate 90/94 expressway, as well as a 550-space parking garage.

“Patients come to Diamond Headache Clinic from all of over the country, so Blackhawk on Halsted’s location near the expressway and Lake Shore Drive played a large role in our decision to move to the Clybourn Corridor,” Dr. Merle Diamond, president and co-director of Diamond, says. “The fact that the building is new construction and in the heart of a vibrant area of Chicago is an added bonus.”
