The new hotel, dubbed Homewood Suites by Hilton West Palm Beach, features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites including kitchen areas, high-speed Internet access, and separate living and sleeping areas. Guest amenities include an executive business center, swimming pool, putting green, billiards room and barbecue patio.

"We continue to see steady demand in the upscale extended stay hotel segment and feel this property helps to fill a need in the West Palm Beach area," says Denise Brockington, the hotel's general manager. She adds that the hotel offers value at a time when both business and leisure travelers are pinching pennies.

This marks the 280th location for Homewood Suites, which was launched in 1989 and has another 120 hotels in the development pipeline. The brand is part of McLean, VA-based Hilton Worldwide.
