According to CB Richard Ellis, which represented landlord Orda Management, STV has signed a 10-year extension, commencing in 2014, on its existing 104,238 square feet of space on floors three through five at 225 PAS and floors five and six in 233 PAS. The two buildings are inter-connected at various floors. The expansion space on the third floor of 233 PAS is for 15 years, at an asking rent of $48 per square foot.
CBRE vice chairman Howard Fiddle says in a statement that "the signing of STV is particularly gratifying because it demonstrates that a quality landlord and a growing company tenant can overcome the hurdle of projecting rents for 2014 and arrive at an equitable deal for both parties." STV has been located at 225/233 PAS since 1984.
Fiddle represented Orda along with his CBRE colleagues Zachary Freeman, first VP; Chris Levinson, senior financial analyst; and Jared Silverman, associate. Negotiating for the tenant were Cushman & Wakefield brokers Robert Giglio and Walter Schoenberg.
