Mixer Now Chairman of Colliers USA Board

LAS VEGAS-Michael Mixer is adding to his duties for Colliers International, an affiliation of independently owned commercial real estate firms. One month after taking the helm of the local office for the third time in his career Mixer has been named chairman of the USA Board of Directors for Colliers International.

One of the Boston-based organization’s top three brokers, Mixer was named to the Colliers USA Board of Directors at the beginning of the year, and sits on its international governance and finance committees. He also sits on the board of directors of Colliers largest franchisee, Colliers Parrish International, and heads up Colliers’ Resort & Gaming Group.

Mixer tells GlobeSt.com that compared to Carolyn Sidor, the day-to-day operations leader for Colliers International as a whole, “my role [as chairman] is more strategic, looking out for growth opportunities and perfecting the platforms used by Colliers brokers in the US and abroad.”Colliers International has 293 affiliate offices in 61 countries in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Greater Asia. Colliers Parrish International, based in San Jose, CA, has 11 offices in California and Nevada, including the Las Vegas office.
