$19M Buying 66,400-SF MOB

ENGLEWOOD, CO-Healthcare Trust of America, a Scottsdale, AZ-based private REIT agrees to acquire a medical office building here from an affiliate of Denver-based Development Solutions Group LLC.

ENGLEWOOD, CO-A new 66,400-square-foot medical office building here has been put under contract for $18.6 million. The buyer is an affiliate of Scottsdale, AZ-based Healthcare Trust of America, formerly Grubb & Ellis Healthcare REIT Inc. The seller is an affiliate of Denver-based Development Solutions Group LLC.

The building trading hands is called Hampden Place Medical Center. It is located near Swedish Medical Center and within Englewood City Center, a transit-oriented, mixed-use redevelopment district. Hampden place was developed in conjunction with local physicians and the HCA HealthOne Hospital System.
