Sherman comes to C&C from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was senior director of its local investment sales group. He was not immediately available Tuesday evening for comment. He began his career in 1971 with Coldwell Banker and over the past 14 years has marketed and sold more than 20 million square feet of industrial, retail and hospitality properties valued at $3 billion.

Notable transactions include the sales of 303 Second St., a 701,000-square-foot property in San Francisco on three separate occasions, most recently for $237 million; and the 1.2-million-square-foot Bernal Corporate Park in Pleasanton for $231 million.
