The database contains "tens of thousands" of property listings, more than 150,000 tax records coverage all of Nevada and 25,000 comparable listings from two leading data sources into its database. The system is powered by Catylist, a commercial real estate marketing company. CALV also employs Restrepo Consulting Group to verify property, listing and comparable data on an ongoing basis.
CALV President Garry Cuff, a multifamily broker who works as a senior director at Commerce CRG/Cushman & Wakefield in Las Vegas, says these upgrades are the product of months of work and collaboration by CALV leaders and partners. The result, Cuff says, is that the top commercial brokerage firms doing business in Las Vegas are entering all their data on property listings into the system, creating a "comprehensive, accurate and affordable listing and research platform where the data is owned and controlled by CALV and the commercial real estate industry."
"Dozens of firms are already on board, including market leaders like CB Richard Ellis, Voit Commercial, Commerce CRG/Cushman & Wakefield, Prudential Commercial/IPG and others," he says. "We're also seeing more of the top brokers and managing directors getting involved in CALV and using the system."
CALV is currently offering a free basic membership to interested local real estate professionals. Full CALV membership costs $50 per month and includes access to all information on the system, along with numerous other member benefits such as networking and educational opportunities and government affairs representation.
