Acme Packet Consolidating to 123,000-SF HQ

BEDFORD, MA-Moving its headquarters from Burlington, the company is consolidating a few offices into its larger footprint here.

BEDFORD, MA-Acme Packet, a supplier of voice over internet protocol (VOIP) technology, is consolidating a few local offices and its headquarters in Burlington, MA into 100 Crosby Dr., here. The 123,788-square-foot space will be an expansion from the 75,000 square feet of its current headquarters at 71 3rd Ave. in Burlington.

The lease will start on June 1, 2010 and the rent comes to $201,155.50 per month, according to Acme’s SEC filing. The lease is signed for a term of six years and six months, with an option to extend the lease by five years, with the provision that at the time of extension Acme is occupying at least 50% of the leased space.
