This item we came across this morning was just too morbid to pass up. Apparently big-box stores from Walmart to Costco are selling coffins.Walmart is selling them online on a trial basis right now. Coffins range from $895 to just under $3,000. A quick Google search informed us that there are some independent companies out there selling coffins on the Internet. Included are Centurycasket.com and then there's CasketFurniture.com, a company with the tagline "Furniture for a lifetime...and beyond."You've gotta hand it to Walmart and Costco. These retailers are leaving no stone unturned nowadays.
