Korn/Ferry Lands LoPinto for RE Practice

NEW YORK CITY-Anthony J. LoPinto will join the talent management firm as head of its North America Real Estate Practice.

NEW YORK CITY-Anthony J. LoPinto is joining Korn/Ferry International from Equinox Partners, where he served as founder and CEO, overseeing offices in New York City; Washington, DC; San Francisco; and Los Angeles. LoPinto will join Korn/Ferry as head of their North America Real Estate Practice.

“Tony has an extraordinary track record in the real estate industry and is widely respected as one of the leading consultants serving the talent needs of public and private companies engaged in the real estate business,” says Michael Franzino, global market managing director of Korn/Ferry’s global financial services market, in a release. “He brings the knowledge, proven track record and know-how to further establish Korn/Ferry as a leading human capital solutions firm in the real estate industry.”

LoPinto tells GlobeSt.com that while the future of real estate markets still remains in flux, a brighter fate awaits those searching for jobs. “The transactional side [of commercial real estate] has not become invigorated,” he explains. “But when that gears up, that will fuel organizational changes.” He notes that as public markets become active, with IPOs, etc., the organizational effects will follow, namely management teams, particularly those with experience in public markets.
