New Year Resolution

What a relief that it’s 2010, and good riddance to 2009! Now that I have that out of my system…My predictions number one, two and three for the New Year is that success for real estate organizations in this 'Year of the Recovery,' will be dictated by their possessing the skills to recruit, develop, and retain the best performers. Capital is no longer willing to simply assess and invest in real estate or the glossy plans of the service providers; it is now sharply focused on their investment in the caliber, quality and distinction of the organization’s management team. Leading organizations across all industries recognize that, to navigate in difficult times, and to prosper in the good times, they need a comprehensive talent management strategy. The New Year’s resolutions for smart leaders in 2010 should be to invest in their company’s commitment to a greater and sharper focus on human capital management.

Best wishes for your organizational success in the New Year. Cheers.
