SI Hospital Expands by 75,000 SF

NEW YORK CITY-Richmond University Medical Center will open an ambulatory care enter to serve Staten Island residents on two floors of the Nicotra Group's Corporate Commons.

NEW YORK CITY-Richmond University Medical Center has expanded its facilities, taking two floors totaling about 75,000 square feet in a long-term lease at the Nicotra Group’s Corporate Commons One. In a statement, RUMC president and CEO Richard Murphy says the expansion gives the hospital “the additional opportunity to reach an underserved community and increase our presence on Staten Island.”

RUMC will use the space to open an ambulatory and urgicare center later this year, with a special focus on residents of the borough’s West Shore. The hospital’s main campus will remain the hub for all treatment and administrative offices.
