BOSTON-Edward Linde, co-founder and CEO of Boston Properties, died Sunday as a result of complications from pneumonia, the REIT announced in a release. Linde was 67.

In a statement, Mortimer Zuckerman, co-founder and chairman of the board, at Boston Properties, says “we all lost a dear friend and great colleague. Ed and I started Boston Properties over 40 years ago. We spoke almost every day and found the opportunity to laugh at both the ups and downs of the real estate business.
