AmericInn Takes New Direction for 2010

CHANHASSEN, MN-As the Americas Lodging Investment Summit is quickly approaching, and as more than 3,000 ALIS delegates were recently surveyed regarding the state of the hotel industry, it seems that an increase in optimism is in the air. Survey results showed 75% of the respondents believe an economic turnaround for the hotel industry will begin in 2010, with the largest share predicting a turnaround in the third quarter.

And this “change in mood,” as you might call it, seems to be spreading around the hotel sector. For example, locally based AmericInn is looking ahead to strong growth opportunities in 2010.

The company also welcomes Ron Burgett to the leadership team. With more than 20 years in hotel real estate and management, Burgett joins AmericInn parent company Northcott Hospitality as executive vice president of development. His charge is to lead AmericInn’s aggressive expansion beyond its Midwestern roots.
