Additional terms of the lease were not disclosed by the building's owner, New York City-based Tishman Speyer. Current asking rents at the building are listed at $33 per square foot.
The Turner Construction lease marks the latest score for Two Alliance, which signed New York City-based insurer Marsh & McLennan Cos. to a 125,000-square-foot lease last October. The building has also earned LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building Council, making it the first office tower in Buckhead to achieve that status.
"Our firm commitment to deliver Buckhead's finest new building, in accordance with LEED Gold standards, has made Two Alliance a must-consider office location for companies looking to establish themselves and grow in this attractive submarket," Jim Meyer, managing director of Tishman Speyer, stated in a release. He adds that the latest lease should help bring additional tenants to the building.
Two Alliance is a companion building to One Alliance Center, which opened in 2001 and is fully leased. David Demarest and Brannan Moss of Jones Lang LaSalle negotiated the lease on Turner Construction's behalf with Chris Ahrenkiel of Tishman Speyer.
Incidentally, Turner Construction, also based in New York City, was not involved in building Two Alliance. The Beck Group of Dallas was the building's contractor.
