CHARLOTTE-The majority of a 639,000-square-foot distribution center in suburban Statesville has been leased to Ozburn-Hessey Logistics, according to Brentwood, TN-based ProVenture. The building is being vacated by comfort-furniture maker La-Z-Boy Inc., which has been there for the past five years.

The building’s owner, New York City-based Lexington Realty Trust, signed a lease with OHL, also based in Brentwood, for 471,000 square feet or 74% of the building space. Jeb Atkinson with ProVenture’s Logistics Practice Group represented OHL in lease negotiations, while Ted Haley of Charlotte-based Lincoln Harris negotiated for the landlord.
