Moinian Taps Bayer as Managing Director

NEW YORK CITY-The 20-year veteran will spearhead leasing at 3 Columbus Circle and sales at the Moinian Group's new mixed-use project Downtown.

NEW YORK CITY- Industry veteran Jacqueline Finkelstein-Bayer has been named senior managing director of the Moinian Group, where she will lead sales and leasing efforts for some of the developer’s highest-profile projects. Among them: office leasing at the repositioned 3 Columbus Circle and sales at the soon-to-open W New York Downtown Hotel & Residences.

A 20-year veteran of commercial real estate, Bayer was most recently president of JSF Development LLC, which focused on mid-rise multifamily and single-family housing along New York City’s waterfront. Before that five-year stint, she was senior managing director of capital markets for Trammell Crow Co.

Formerly known as 1775 Broadway, the one-time headquarters of Newsweek is undergoing a $60-million metamorphosis into 3 Columbus Circle. The Moinian Group bought the 26-story, 722,000 square-foot property for $130 million in 1999.
