First Park's proximity to Interstates 35 and 20 and Union Pacific's Dallas Intermodal Terminal were key factors in Continental's decision, says Robert Allen, local marketing and leasing director with Chicago-based First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. Its Freeport Trade Zone status also came into play, he says.
First Park DalPort opened in 2008 and totals 758,922 square feet with 62% availability. First Industrial owns and manages 6.8 million square feet in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.
