In a release, Mosler calls it "an honor to kick off what I anticipate will be the most exciting and rewarding chapter of my real estate career by representing an owner/developer with the credentials and financial strength of a Charles Cohen, who continues to build, manage and add value to one of the most prestigious privately-owned real estate portfolios of its kind in the world." Cohen calls it "an important strategic alliance" for his firm, the release states.

As part of the assignment's initial phase, Mosler has assembled a C&W team that also includes Edward Weiss and Joseph Cabrera. They'll handle the exclusive leasing agencies for three of Cohen's key Manhattan office properties: the 41-story 3 Park Ave., the 31-story 805 Third Ave., the 20- story 3 E. 54th St. and the 39-story tower at 622 Third Ave., also known as Grand Central Plaza.

With Cohen Brothers maintaining a large in-house leasing department that handles brokerage transactions for most of its portfolio internally, the C&W team will also be leveraging its in-house strategic agency services group, which markets and leases premier properties to prospective tenants. For Mosler, the alliance with Cohen Brothers is in keeping with his return to what he calls "my first love" of driving new national and global brokerage business to the company, developing major accounts and serving key clients. He'll perform these roles while also carrying out his duties as co-chairman, according to the release.
